Prayer to Saint Martin de Porres

Dear Saint Martin,

obtain for us from God and his Holy Mother Mary, the grace to understand fully the greatness of God's love for us, so that we may always seek our true happiness in the loving service of God and of our neighbour for God's sake.

May we always cherish our faith as our dearest possession, be true to what it teaches, and be filled with zeal for its spread, so that soon there may be but one fold and one shepherd, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.
