Sacrament Of Marriage

For Catholics, the Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a public sign that one gives oneself totally to this other person. It is also a public statement about God: the loving union of husband and wife speaks of family values and also God’s values.

All couples are expected to give six months notice of marrige. Arrangements to be made with the priest of the bride’s district in the parish.

Celebration of Mass

The Catholic Mass is the liturgy of the Eucharist. Mass is the Catholic service where there are readings, a homily, and the consecration of the Eucharist. At St Mary’s Church we celebrate Mass every day of the week.
